S.P Bardwell Ltd is a well established Building, Civil Engineering and Groundworks Company based near Maldon, Essex, covering the South East of England, South East London.
The Bardwell name has been synonymous with quality workmanship since the early 1900's when William Bardwell formed a building and carpentry business. It was George Bardwell who expanded on this by moving into general civil engineering shortly after the Second World War.
Future generations succeeded as Rodney Bardwell took over the business in 1965, Steven Bardwell, the current Managing Director, has run SP Bardwell Ltd since 1982. To the right is an early picture of Steve Bardwell working for his father on a Massey Ferguson 450 S 360 Excavator. Steve spent many years working for his father where he gained an extensive knowledge of the Industry which proved instrumental to the success of SP Bardwell Ltd.
